Ending Period Poverty. One Girl at a Time.

Mission Padded Hundred (MissionPadded100) is a girl-centred charity initiative dedicated to supporting young girls as they begin their menstrual journey—especially during the transition into secondary school.

Our Values

We provide free menstrual products, age-appropriate education, and community-based support programmes that remove barriers to learning and help girls attend school with confidence, dignity, and pride.

Dignity Starts Here: Keep a Girl in School.

For young African girls, starting secondary school often means starting their period—and facing the silent crisis of Period Poverty. Mission Padded Hundred provides free period products, vital education, and community support to eliminate barriers, ensuring every girl can attend school with confidence.

The Mission Padded Hundred Approach

We adopt a holistic, girl-centred approach, recognising that period poverty is more than just a lack of pads. It is an issue of dignity, health and equity. By focusing on junior secondary school girls, we aim to provide support and interventions at those crucial ages during early onset puberty

Practical Support:

Delivering free, safe sanitary products directly to girls in need.

Education:

Breaking the culture of silence and equipping girls with knowledge about their bodies.

Community:

Minimising stigma, creating safe supportive networks and involving peers, parents and schools.
